Cedar Park Rainforest Resort is a privately owned, award-winning wildlife retreat located in a stunning tropical rainforest setting, surrounded by the lush wilderness of Dinden National Park. The resort features unique architectural elements, including 32 hand-crafted brick archways and stained-glass door and window features. Its crystal-clear creek and diverse wildlife create a serene atmosphere ideal for relaxation. It has drawn visitors to this region for over 100 years, offering a harmonious blend of nature and comfort.

Location

The resort is situated in Koah on the Tablelands, just 45 kilometers from Cairns, providing easy access to this bustling city while being immersed in nature. It borders the expansive Dinden National Park, known for its hiking trails, waterfalls, and historical Aboriginal sites. Nearby attractions include the Clohsey River Fig Tree, accessible with a 4WD, enhancing the adventure opportunities for guests.

Rooms

The resort offers five fully self-contained suites, including a Duplex Family Suite that features a king-sized bed and a bunk bed in separate rooms. Each suite includes amenities such as air conditioning, a bathroom, and a kitchen, providing guests with the convenience of home in a rainforest setting. All suites provide breathtaking views of the surrounding tropical landscape.

Eat & Drink

Guests are provided with a full breakfast waiting in the full-sized fridge, featuring farm-fresh eggs, assorted breads, yogurt, and fresh local fruit. Additionally, guests have the option to purchase homemade pizzas from the freezer for a convenient dining experience. While there are no onsite restaurants, these meal options allow for a relaxed and enjoyable mealtime amidst the tranquil surroundings.

Cedar Park Rainforest Resort provides various recreational facilities, including hiking trails, a children's playground, and opportunities for canoeing.
